The Łysina is a mountain in the Polish Middle Pienines , a mountain range of the Pieninen , at 792 m above sea level. It is located in the Trzy Korony massif . The summit is about 300 meters above the Dunajec valley .

Location and surroundings

The Łysina lies in the main ridge of the Pienines. To the southeast of the summit is the Dunajec Gorge , to the north is the Krośnica Valley .

etymology

The name of the summit can be translated as bald head and stems from the fact that the limestone cliffs of the summit appear like a bald head between the densely forested slopes.

tourism

The summit is in the Pieninen National Park . It is not open to tourists.
