Żaneta Glanc

Żaneta Glanc (born March 11, 1983 in Poznań ) is a Polish discus thrower .

Żaneta Glanc starts for the AZS Poznań association. She improved her personal best from 2007 with 59.36 m over 2008 with 61.42 m up to 2009 to 63.96 m. For Poland she took part in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . In the qualification of the Olympic competition, however, she was the only one of the 38 starters who had three failed attempts and was eliminated. At the 2009 World Athletics Championships in Berlin , she had her greatest international success to date. She was fourth with a width of 62.66 m. At the Summer Universiade 2009 in Belgrade , she won the silver medal with a width of 60.57 m. At the 2011 World Athletics Championships in Daegu , she repeated her success in Berlin and finished fourth again with a thrown 63.91 m.

Żaneta Glanc is 1.86 m tall and has a competition weight of 82 kg.
