Skirgailė Žalimienė

Skirgailė Žalimienė (born Žaltauskaitė ; * 1972 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, European lawyer and professor , judge at the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania .

Life

From 1991 to 1996 Skirgailė Žaltauskaitė graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University (VU) with a degree in law . After that she completed her doctorate on 12 April 2001 on " freedom of establishment under EU law" (supervisor Prof. vilenas vadapalas , Chair of EU privilege and international law ). She has been a lecturer at the chair so far . From 2005 she was a professor at Lietuvos teisės universitetas (MRU).

From 1997 she worked as a senior specialist in the legal office at the Ministry of Europe in Lithuania , then at the Department for European Law at the Government of Lithuania , from 2002 Head of the Sub-Department for Substantive EU Law, from 2004 Deputy Director General of the Department for European Law at the Lithuanian Ministry of Justice . Since August 2008 she has been a judge at the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania.
