Željko Brkić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Жељко Бркић ; born July 9, 1986 in Novi Sad , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian football goalkeeper .
Career
Club career
Brkić began his professional goalkeeping career in 2006 at FK Vojvodina . Since 2011 he has been under contract with the Italian club Udinese Calcio ; he was awarded to AC Siena in the 2011/12 season. After three seasons for Udinese, loans to Cagliari Calcio and FC Carpi followed in 2015 .
National team
As a national player Brkić took part in the U-21 European Championship in Sweden in 2009 . He made his debut in March 2010 in the friendly against Algeria for the Serbian senior team after his colleague Vladimir Dišljenković resigned from the national team.
