Željko Milinovič (born September 12, 1969 in Ljubljana , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Slovenian football player and today's coach.

Career

Milinovič started his career with Slovan Ljubljana in Slovenia . His next club was local rival Olimpija Ljubljana , where he played from 1992 to 1994. From 1994/95 he was under contract with FK Željezničar Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina . From 1995 to 1998 the defender played again for NK Maribor PL in his home country Slovenia. From 1998 to 2000 Milinovič played for the first time at LASK Linz in the Stahlstadt. In 2000/01 he came to Graz for the GAK . In 2001 the Slovenian ex-national player moved to JEF United Ichihara in Japan . In January 2005, Milinovič returned to LASK in Linz .
