Ștefania Stănilă

Ștefania Stănilă (born December 27, 1997 in Aninoasa ) is a Romanian artistic gymnast .

She was accepted into the national gymnastics center in Deva in 2011. At the European Junior Championships 2012 in Brussels, Stănilă won two medals. She was vice European champion in the jump and was third with the team.

2013 Stănilă was the youngest participant in the gymnastics world championships in Antwerp. But she could not qualify for any final.

At the 2014 European Gymnastics Championships , Stănilă won the title with the Romanian gymnastics team with Diana Bulimar , Larisa Iordache , Andreea Munteanu and Silvia Zarzu ahead of Great Britain and Russia. At the World Championships in the same year, the Romanians came fourth.

Stănilă was not included in the preparatory squad for the 2016 Olympic Games formed in 2015.

Ștefania Stănilă was made an honorary citizen of Aninoasa in 2014.
