Gymnastics World Championships 2013

The 44th World Gymnastics Championships in Artistic Gymnastics found from September 30 to October 6, 2013 in the Belgian Antwerp instead. For the women it was the 34th title fights, as they have only been allowed to participate in the gymnastics world championships since 1934. The venue was the Sportpaleis . In 2012 there were no gymnastics world championships in London because of the 2012 Summer Olympics .

The men's all- around final was won by the Japanese Kōhei Uchimura with 91,990 points. Second place went to Ryōhei Katō (90.032), also from Japan, ahead of Fabian Hambüchen (89.332), who took third place. In the women’s category, US-American Simone Biles won with 60.216 points ahead of Kyla Ross (USA; 59.332) and Alija Mustafina ( RUS ; 58.856).
