Anna Magdalena ( Chinese  安娜瑪德 蓮娜 , Pinyin Ngon na ma dak lin na ) is a 1998 Cantonese film by Hong Kong director Chung-Man Hai .

action

Two young men, Chan Kar-fu and Yau Muk-yan, fall in love with their neighbor Mok Man-Yee, who practices pieces from Bach's music book for Anna Magdalena Bach on the floor above them . Yau Muk-yan wins the girl's heart. Chan Kar-fu is now fighting for the girl's favor.

Chan Kar-fu is writing a book about an unrealized romance between him and Mok Man-Yee.

Awards

The film was nominated at the 1999 Hong Kong Film Awards in the categories of “Best Set Design”, “Best Cinematography”, “Best Music” and “Best Costumes”, but had to admit defeat in all other productions.
