The 1st class Lower Silesia 1942/43 served as the substructure of the Gauliga Lower Silesia 1942/43 . In the league system of the Sportgau Lower Silesia it was the second level. Once again, the four regional groups Bergland, Breslau, Görlitz and Liegnitz played in a round-robin tournament with a return leg. In the coming season, the league system of the Lower Silesia district was reorganized due to the war. The second class 1st class Lower Silesia was dissolved and the clubs, if they did not withdraw from the game, rose to the Gauliga. In isolated cases, for example in Wroclaw, the 2nd grade continued to exist as a substructure.

Bergland group

The Bergland group was played with 10 teams this season, with VfB Preußen Langenbielau withdrawing from the game during the season. All other clubs played in the Gauliga Lower Silesia in the coming season.

Wroclaw Group

The Breslau group was played with 8 teams this season, with two clubs withdrawing from the league during the season. The SSC Brieg withdrew after the season from the game operation, all remaining teams played in the next season in the Gauliga Lower Silesia.

Goerlitz group

The Görlitz group was played with 8 teams this season, with two teams withdrawing during the season. The ATV Penzig and TuSV Niesky ended their game operation after the season, all other participating clubs went up into the Gauliga next season.

The Liegnitz group was played with 7 teams this season. The VfB Liegnitz and the Reichsbahn SG Arnsdorf withdrew from the season after the season, all other clubs rose to the next season in the Gauliga Lower Silesia.
