The 1st PBC Brambauer (officially: 1st Pool Billard Club Brambauer 1978 eV ) is a billiards club from Lünen founded in 1978 .
history
The 1st PBC Brambauer was founded in 1978 in the Brambauer district of Lüner . In the 1998/99 season he reached first place in the 2nd Bundesliga with only one season defeat and thus rose to the 1st Bundesliga . In 1999 he also won the German 8-Ball Cup by beating BC Siegtal 89 in the final . In the 1999/2000 season he came in sixth place in the 1st Bundesliga. Two years later, the PBC Brambauer achieved his best result in the Bundesliga with fourth place. Then the Bundesliga team was canceled and the club played from then on in the Oberliga Westfalen, from which he was relegated to twelfth place in the 2002/03 season.
In August 2009 the 1st PBC Brambauer merged with the BC Black Ball Lünen to form the 1st PBC Lünen 78/09. This rose from the league in its first season. In 2012, when he came second in the association league, he returned to the league, in which they came third in the 2013/14 season. In the summer of 2015 the 1st PBC Lünen 78/09 was again renamed the 1st PBC Brambauer. In the 2015/16 season they made it to the regional league by finishing second.
