The BC Siegtal 89 (full name: Billard Club Siegtal 89 eV ) is a billiard club in wins .

history

BC Siegtal was founded in 1989 in Siegen-Eiserfeld . In the 1999/2000 season he reached the final of the German 8-Ball Cup , but lost to PBC Brambauer . In 2010 BC Siegtal 89 was fifth in the Oberliga Westfalen. A year later, he was promoted to the regional league. There the team reached first place with only one defeat and thus rose to the 2nd Bundesliga . The team finished third there in 2013 and was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga for the first time in the 2013/14 season . In the 2014/15 season the Siegen started with a draw at PBC Schwerte 87 , who later became German champions. Ina Kaplan was the first woman ever to play in the highest German pool league. After playing a draw against BSV Dachau and Fortuna Straubing during the season, they were relegated to the second division at the end of the season without a win with just six points as eighth place. In the 2015/16 season , three points ahead of 1st PBC Gera , they only just managed to stay sixth.

Ina Kaplan far eight times as a player of BC Siegtal was German champion in women's singles.

The second team of BC Siegtal 89 rose in 2011 as third of the Landesliga Westfalen in the association league. There she came in fifth in 2012 and 2013, before moving up to second in the league in 2014. Two years later, he was relegated to the association league with eleventh place.
