111 Washington Street is a planned skyscraper in New York City that was first unveiled to the public in 2008. The construction was approved.

The building is located in Lower Manhattan , more precisely in the Financial District . In the immediate vicinity are the already completed W New York Downtown Hotel & Residences (also known as 123 Washington Street) and the Holiday Inn Downtown (also known as 99 Washington Street ), which is currently under construction . The building is to function as a purely residential building and contain 54 floors. The height should be around 200 meters, the usable area around 40,000 square meters. The architect chosen was Costas Kondylis , who had already designed many other tall buildings in New York (such as the Silver Towers , the Barclay Tower , the Trump International Hotel and Tower or the Trump World Tower ).

In the summer of 2008, the last buildings were demolished, the construction site cleaned and prepared for foundation work. A few months later, construction was stopped due to the financial crisis and the collapse of the markets. Currently (spring 2013), Meir Milgraum, Director of Acquisitions at Pink Stone Capital, assumes that construction will continue. Completion before 2014 is not expected.
