154th Field Training Division

The 154th Field Training Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on October 1, 1944 as a field training division for Army Group A in the Soviet Union . On February 11, 1945 near Oderberg in Silesia , the 154th Field Training Division was renamed the 154th Infantry Division . The field training divisions were used to train substitute teams for front divisions.
