252 East 57th Street is the name and address of a skyscraper in New York City . It was named after his address and is located in the Manhattan borough . The construction work started in the summer of 2010 should be completed in 2016 according to the original plans. The building reached its final height on October 10, 2015 and was opened at the end of October 2016.
The project is divided into two phases:
- Phase I: Demolition of the old school and construction of a new school building at the same time. This was completed at the end of 2012.
- Phase II: Construction of the actual tower, which began in May 2014.
