357th Infantry Division (Wehrmacht)

The 357th Infantry Division was a German infantry division during World War II . The division was set up on November 7, 1943 at the military training area in the center near Radom in the General Government of Poland . The unit was deployed on the Eastern Front against the Red Army (combat areas in Western Ukraine , Hungary , Slovakia and later in the South Moravian region ). End of August 1944 was followed by refresher by Infantry Division Wroclaw . On 8 May 1945, the unit in the room showed German Brod in Bohemia of the Red Army .
