The 5th Corps Bihać was one of seven corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Bosnian War . It was founded on October 21, 1992 in the vicinity of Cazin in northwestern Bosnia and existed until 1995. The operational area was the Bosnian Krajina . The headquarters were in Bihać . When the corps was founded, it had a strength of 10,152 soldiers. The corps fought mainly against the army of the Republika Srpska , but also against the People's Defense of Western Bosnia (NOZB) of the Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia during the fighting for Velika Kladuša .
