Construction work started in February 2015 and completed in spring 2018. The design of the building was first presented at the end of 2013. The building contains some of the most expensive apartments in the world. The three-story penthouse is expected to cost $ 130 million .

At the end of May 2013, DOB (Department of Buildings - NYC) documents were filed indicating a height of 238 meters. The tower is said to have 52 floors and is located on the Upper East Side . The project is being developed by Zeckendorf Realty, a well-known New York real estate agency. Among other things, Zeckendorf built the Zeckendorf Towers on Union Square . The building is to be built purely as a residential tower, with limestone used as the facade cladding. In total, only about 40 residential units are to be built. It can therefore be assumed that each floor has only one residential unit. The upper floors should function as duplex apartments, i.e. H. an apartment spread over two floors.

The building reached its final height in mid-April 2017. The developer assumes that the first apartments will be ready to move into at the end of 2017.
