- 7th year of reign of the Assyrian and Babylonian king Asarhaddon (674 to 673 BC):
- In the Babylonian calendar , the Babylonian New Year of 1st Nisannu fell on the 20th – 21st. March,; the full moon in Nisannu on the 1st – 2nd April, the 1st Ululu on the 13.-14. August and the 1st Tašritu on the 12th – 13th September.
- Assyrian scribes record their observations of the lunar eclipse from 27./28. August (15th Ululu: 27-28 August).
