99 High Street (Tillicoultry)

A public building is located at 99 High Street in the Scottish town of Tillicoultry in the Clackmannanshire Council Area . In 1977 the structure was included in the Scottish List of Monuments in Category C.

The building is located directly on the High Street, on which the A91 runs along the Hillfoots Villages , in Tillicoultry's city center. It was built around 1830 and initially housed the city administration. This is still indicated by the inscription Municipality Buildings above the entrance door. Today the city library is housed there. The building consists of three segments that are joined together in a closed construction. The middle part of the building is set back a bit, the right, western part is lower than the other two. The two-story building is plastered with Harl and ends with three hipped roofs . The building edges of the left and middle parts of the building are set off from the red painted facade with whitewashed corner stones . The entrance door can be found in the left part of the building and has a canopy supported by two Doric columns .
