A16 road ( English for road A16 ) is a two-lane highway in England . It begins in Peterborough on the A47 road , passes Spalding on a bypass , crosses the A17 road and continues north of Boston , where it crosses the A52 road . To the north it continues its course via Louth to Grimsby , a formerly important fishing port, where it ends at the A180 road .
