A23 road ( English for road A23 is) a highway and, apart from the portion, parallel to the M23 motorway runs, a primary route in England . It begins in London as Westminster Bridge Road, runs u. a. via Brixton road south through Croydon , at Purley the A22 road branches off and after entering Surrey the M23 motorway, runs west of this via Redhill and Horley further south, then makes a bend west to Crawley and continues south of Crawley continue the M23 as a four-lane road south. The A27 road is crossed north of Brighton . From there, the A23 is two-lane into the center of Brighton.
