The A938 road is an A-road in the Scottish Council Area Highland .

The road begins as a junction from the A9 ( Polmont - Scrabster ) around three kilometers west of Bogroy . After a few hundred meters, the Highland Main Line crosses a bridge over the A938. Connecting Bogroy and Carrbridge , the road heads east. It follows the course of the Dulnain until its end, but never crosses it. It leads through a sparsely populated region on the northern edge of the Cairngorms . The A938 passes Lake Lochanhully and reaches the village of Duthil . Shortly before, the B9007 joins (via A940 to A939 ). The A938 eventually reaches Dulnain Bridge , where it becomes one of the main thoroughfares. A few hundred meters beyond the village, it joins the A95 after a total length of 14.8 km .
