The 2009-10 season was the second regular season of the All American Hockey League (All American Hockey Association until 2009). The seven teams were supposed to play 46 games each in the regular season , but the schedule had to be changed after the Madison Ice Muskies and Chicago Blaze stopped playing during the season and became inactive, as well as the financially troubled Detroit Hitmen during the season after Norton Shores , Michigan , has been relocated and replaced by the West Michigan Blizzard.
