In ACS Catalysis both new research findings in the form of letters (to Letters ) and articles ( Articles ) and systematic reviews ( reviews ), points of view ( Viewpoints ) and prospects ( Perspectives ) published. Reviews, perspectives and viewpoints usually only appear after invitation.
In ACS Catalysis , experimental and theoretical research results as well as reviews on molecules , macromolecules and substances that are catalytically active in nature are published. Areas of application are the biosciences , organometallic chemistry , synthesis , photochemistry , electrochemistry , drug design , environmental protection , polymer chemistry and energy sources .
The magazine also awards the ACS Catalysis Lectureship for the Advancement of Catalytic Science Award .
Awards
ACS Catalysis was in 2013 by the Association of American Publishers to the PROSE Award for "Best New Journal in Science, Technology & Medicine" in-2013.
