Wolfgang Mayrhofer (born May 24, 1958 in Klagenfurt ) is a former Austrian sailor .

Wolfgang Mayrhofer took part in the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow in the boat class Finn-Dinghy . With 46.7 points he won the silver medal in second place behind Esko Rechardt and ahead of Andrei Balaschow . For this success he received the ring of honor of the city of Neusiedl am See .
