The 2020 Superbike World Championship season is the 33rd in the history of the FIM - Superbike World Championship . It is expected that 24 races will be held at 8 events.

Distribution of points

The world champion will be the driver or manufacturer who has accumulated the most points in the world championship by the end of the season. When distributing points, the placements are taken into account in the overall result of the respective race. The first 15 drivers get points in the two main races and the first nine drivers in the sprint race.
