The Motorland Aragón ( Spanish: Ciudad del Motor de Aragón ) is a motorsport racetrack in the province of Aragon near Alcañiz in Spain .

history

The race track has been part of the Formula Renault 3.5 racing calendar since 2009 .

In 2010 the Grand Prix of Aragon took place on the track for the first time as part of the Motorcycle World Championship . The race was added to the calendar as a replacement for the Hungarian Grand Prix . This was supposed to take place on the Balatonring , which was not completed in time.
