The Sportland SUGO ( Jap. スポーツランドSUGO , Supōtsurando SUGO ) is a motorsport - racing track in the district Sugo ( 菅生 ) of Murata , Shibata-gun , Miyagi Prefecture in Japan .

The track opened in 1975 and is owned by Yamaha Motor . With a total area of ​​2.1 million square meters , it is one of the largest motorsport facilities in Japan. There are a total of four routes on the site. A street course, a motocross track , a trial course and a go-kart track. The audience capacity is 50,000.

The street course has a length of 3.737 km and is driven clockwise .
