Hedemora TT Circuit

The Hedemora TT Circuit is a former racing track in the small Swedish municipality of Hedemora in the province of Dalarnas län , about 170 kilometers northwest of Stockholm .

The route had a length of 7.265 kilometers and was driven clockwise .

history

In 1933 and 1934, the first races took place on the Hedemora TT Circuit with the Swedish TT .

After the Second World War , the Hedemora TT was held in 1949 and motorcycle races were held in Hedemora from 1950 to 1958. Between 1950 and 1953 the races were organized again as Swedish TT, 1954 motorcycle racing on the allowed only Isle of Man and in the Netherlands the name Tourist Trophy wear (TT) so that the events until 1958 when Grand Prix Sweden held . In 1958 , this Grand Prix had World Cup status for the first time . From the 1959 season onwards , the Grand Prix took place on Råbelövsbanan in Kristianstad .

No races have been held on the Hedemora TT Circuit since 1999.
