Swedish TT

The Swedish TT ( Swedish Tourist Trophy ) was an international motorcycle race that was held nine times between 1926 and 1935.
From 1926 to 1932 the race was held on a road circuit around Onsala in the province of Halland County , 45 kilometers south of Gothenburg . In 1928 it was canceled due to organizational problems. In 1933 and 1934 the Swedish TT took place on the Hedemora TT Circuit around Hedemora in the province of Dalarnas län , about 170 kilometers northwest of Stockholm . In 1935 the event was held in Avesta in the east of the Dalarna province. After the 1936 edition was canceled, the Swedish TT was no longer held. Since 1930, in Saxtorp with the Swedish Grand Prix motorcycle races held, the internationally more reputation possessed.
The record winner with three successes was Husqvarna factory driver Gunnar Kalén .
