Band history

AKa Frontage was formed in summer 2002 from members of the disbanding bands Descontento and FreaKings. Already in autumn 2003 the line-up Joeker, Jan (Jan-Simon Wolff, e-guitar), Kilemo, Julian (Julian Wright, e-piano), das Bröt, Freddai and Tximi started to record the first CD Traum à 7 which was published in spring 2004.

In the course of the next two years the first major appearances followed, e.g. B. on Das Fest (Karlsruhe) , Berlinova and the Mini-Rock-Festival , as well as some other member changes.

The provisional final band line-up with Joeker, Kilemo, das Bröt, Tximi, Freddai, Didi and Carlos can now look back on a band history with around 150 appearances and another album, released in January 2006, Auf Augenhöhe .

On April 12th, 2008 the third album MIKADO imperial was presented in Substage Karlsruhe.

On April 27, 2009 the breakup of the band was announced. The farewell concert took place on December 5, 2009.
