ALO

ALO (Animal Liberation Orchestra) is an American band consisting of David Brogan ( drums , vocals ), Dan Lebowitz ( guitar , percussion , vocals), Zach Gill ( keyboards , ukulele , vocals) and Steve Adams ( bass , vocals) .

history

At Saratoga High School , Zach Gill ( keyboard , vocals ), Steve Adams ( bass , vocals), Dan Lebowitz ( guitar , percussion , vocals) and Matt West ( drums , vocals) formed their first band under the name Django . Their wild stage shows soon made them popular and known throughout Santa Barbara .

After the band Django split up , Zach Gill, Dan Lebowitz and Steve Adams returned to their hometown of Saratoga and played with several different drummers. In 2002 they reunited after a break and found a permanent drummer in David Brogan.

Keyboardist Zach Gill also went to college with well-known surfer and musician Jack Johnson and has good relationships with him. In 2006 ALO was signed to Jack Johnson 's label Brushfire Records . Her debut album Fly Between Falls was re-released there in the same year .
