Saratoga is a city in Santa Clara County in the US state California with around 29,900 inhabitants (as of 2010).

Saratoga is located on the west side of the Santa Clara Valley , in the San Francisco Bay Area. The urban area covers an area of ​​31.4 square kilometers.

Demographics

According to the 2010 census , 29,926 people lived in the city. The population rose within ten years, namely since the 2000 census , by less than 100, which is comparatively (with California or the USA as a whole) only a weak increase. The majority of the population consisted of whites with a share of 53 percent. Citizens of Asian descent, who make up around 40 percent of the population, are represented above average.
