Alsat-M ( Macedonian Алсат-М ) is a national private television station in North Macedonia , which has been on the air since March 2006. The head office is located in the capital Skopje . It broadcasts mainly in Albanian , but some programs - such as the News - are also broadcast in Macedonian . The website, on the other hand, offers its latest news consistently in both languages. With this offer, Alsat-M is the only private television broadcaster in the country that does not broadcast exclusively in one language.
The managing director is Bisera Jordanovska and program director Muhamed Zeqiri.
Alsat-M emerged from the international broadcaster Alsat, which has broadcast in Albania , Kosovo and North Macedonia since 2004 . This later developed into the commercial broadcaster Albanian Screen Radio Television in Albania and Alsat-M in North Macedonia. The station has been owned by the Veve Group since its predecessor Alsat , which was founded by Vehbi Velija and has been run by his son Ferik Velija since his death in 2009. The Veve Group is mainly active in Albania.
