Aadmi Aur Insaan (translated: Man and Man ) is a Bollywood film by BR Chopra directed by his younger brother Yash Chopra .
action
The wealthy entrepreneur Jai Kishan, also known as JK, found a surrogate family in his best friend Munish. He also sees a brother in Munish and finances his engineering studies. The two are inseparable. Munish is now working on a dam project under JK's direction. While at work, Munisch meets the young social worker Meena, who takes care of the workers' wellbeing. He falls in love with her and wants to introduce her to JK.
Even before JK sees her, he falls in love with Shimla during a business trip - with Meena, who accompanied her father. When Munish finds out, he wants to sacrifice his love for friendship. But JK thinks Munish is between Meena and him. He fired him when Munish also complained about the poor quality of the dam's building fabric. Dams break, drawbridges collapse!
While Munish tries to find the cause of the misfortunes, JK and the seductive Rita try to fool him. After Munish finds evidence that includes the black market, among other things, he comes behind the masterminds of these mysterious incidents - it is none other than JK himself.
Munish was supposed to present the evidence to a government committee . In order not to betray his friend, he remains silent about the evidence. The committee accuses Munish of corruption and takes him to court.
JK suddenly enters the courtroom and confesses his guilt for having acted out of sheer greed for profit. He also reports on the black marketeers. Just then, Kundanlal, JK's henchman, shoots him. As he dies, he apologizes to Munish, Meena and the family and hands over responsibility for the company to his best friend.

criticism
"Aadmi Aur Insaan" gains in value through this interesting look at Indian economic mechanics, which is dealt with in a very rudimentary but also easily understandable way. The rest primarily provides solid entertainment. There is the lively music by Ravi, there are the wonderful clothes, the varied scenery and the good-humored actors. "
