The Arennest , also called Aarnest , is a 591.5 m high mountain in the Hessian district of Marburg-Biedenkopf . It is one of the so-called bagpipe foreheads , which, as part of the eastern Sauerland mountain range, cover the Rothaargebirge southeast of the 674 m high bagpipe .
The arennest extends between Engelbach and Biedenkopf and is considered the local mountain of Engelbach.
