Aarno Henrik Maliniemi (born March 9, 1892 in Oulu , † October 8, 1972 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish professor of church history (1940-1960) at the University of Helsinki .

Maliniemi was an important connoisseur of medieval cultural history and ancient Finnish literature. Maliniemi has published documents and bibliographies.

After 1930 he called himself Malin .
