Aaron Blaise

Aaron Blaise (born February 17, 1968 in Burlington , Vermont ) is an American animator and film director .

Career

Aaron Blaise graduated from the Ringling College of Art & Design in 1989. Blaise's film career began in 1990. He worked as an animator for The Walt Disney Company on the short film Roger in the Frenzy and with Bernard and Bianca in, among others Kangaroo land with. He made his directorial debut in 1999 with the short film How to Haunt a House . He also worked in other full-length cartoons by Walt Disney and designed characters for Beauty and the Beast responsible for "The Beast", Aladdin responsible for "Rajah and Jasmine", The Lion King responsible for "Nala", the main character in the film Pocahontas and "Yao" for Mulan with.

He made his directorial debut in a feature film in the 44th full-length cartoon by Walt Disney Bear Brothers and received an Oscar nomination in the category " Best Animated Film " at the 2004 Academy Awards with co-director Robert Walker (1961–2015) .
