Aaron C. Jeffery (born August 25, 1970 in Howick , Auckland , New Zealand ) is a New Zealand actor .

life and career

When he was 17, he moved to Australia and studied acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). After graduating in 1993, he played permanent roles in several Australian television series, including a. in Water Rats - Die Hafencops .

After being molested and attacked by a stalker , Jeffery paused his acting career and worked on a farm in New South Wales while studying theology on the side.

In 2001 he returned in front of the camera for the Australian series McLeod's Daughters and played the role of Alex Ryan until 2008 .

Jeffery was married to Melinda Medich and has one daughter. The marriage broke up in late 2005. Jeffery was in a relationship with his colleague Michelle Langstone (she played the role of his fiancée and later wife Fiona), who he met on the set of McLeod's daughters . However, after Michelle Langstone dropped out of this series and then moved away, they separated because of the great distance. He is now in a relationship with his colleague Zoe Naylor , who also starred in the series. With her he had his second daughter Sophia Jade in June 2012 and his son Beau Charles Jeffery on May 23, 2016.

Aaron Jeffery was named Most Popular Actor in 2004 and 2007 at the Logie Awards with the Silver Logie and in 2005 nominated for it, each for McLeod's Daughters .

Jeffery played the lead role in the short-lived Australian crime series The Strip .
