Abdoulie Janneh (athlete)

Abdoulie Janneh (born March 8, 1970 ) is a former Gambian sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, he was eliminated from the 100 m as fourth in his heat with a time of 10.71 s. In the 4 x 100 meter relay , he started with Dawda Jallow , Lamin Marikong and Momodou Sarr . Janneh ran third in the relay, which came in sixth and last place with 40.98 seconds and thus did not qualify for the semi-finals.

Even at the World Athletics Championships in 1993 in Stuttgart, he did not get beyond the first lap over 100 m. At the Commonwealth Games in Victoria in 1994 , he was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run and finished seventh in the Gambian 4 x 100 meter relay.
