Abel Augusto Lobatón Espejo (born November 23, 1977 in Lima ) is a former Peruvian football player.

Career

He began his career in 1997 at the Peruvian club Sport Boys , where he was under contract again in 1999, 2000 and 2006. His next stop was in 1998 with Lawn Tennis FC . In 2000 he got a contract with the Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense . In 2001 he returned to Peru and ran there for the Peruvian club  Universitario . A year later, in 2002, he got a 1-year contract with the Juan Aurich club .

His other positions in 2004 were the CD Universidad association . In the 2004/2005 winter season he was under contract for the Portuguese club Marítimo Funchal and in 2005 he was signed to the Ecuadorian club SD Aucas for the summer season . In 2006 he was signed by the Peruvian club FBC Melgar . In 2008 and 2009 he ran for the clubs UTC Cajamarca and Ayacucho FC on the pitch.

After 166 league games and 39 goals scored, he ended his career. In the national team , he completed 12 games, where he scored one goal.

Trivia

  • In 2014 he was involved in a fraud case in which he and his siblings were said to have defrauded an organizer of $ 18,000.
