Abel Parentini Posse (born January 7, 1934 in Córdoba ) is an Argentine diplomat and writer.

Live and act

Posse studied law at the Universidad de Buenos Aires until 1959 . In the summer of 1959 he went to France to study literature at the Sorbonne . After completing his studies, he went back to his homeland and settled in Buenos Aires .

From 1965 Posse represented his country as ambassador in Moscow and in 1973 moved to Venice in a similar position . Between 1985 and 1988 he was his country's ambassador to Jerusalem and later held similar offices in Prague , Lima and Madrid . When Néstor Kirchner was putting together his cabinet, Posse was briefly under discussion as Foreign Minister.

Parallel to his political offices and tasks, a notable oeuvre emerged over the years, which, however, did not generally appeal to literary criticism.
