The House of Representatives of Newfoundland and Labrador (Engl. Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly , fr. Chambre d'Assemblée de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador ) is the legislature of the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador . It is meeting in the Confederation Building in St. John's .

The House of Representatives belong to 40 members in as many constituencies for the majority system to be selected. The leader of the majority party is also the prime minister and heads the government known as the executive council (French conseil exécutif ).

The three main tasks of the House of Representatives are to pass new laws, approve the state budget and control the government.
