Aboim is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Aboim belongs to the district Fafe in Braga District . The community had an area of ​​11.5 km² and 354 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Aboim, Felgueiras , Gontim and Pedraído merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Aboim, Felgueiras, Gontim e Pedraído . Aboim is the seat of this newly formed community.
