history
The company was founded in 1971 by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and restructured in 1988. It has been headed by Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber since 2016 .
The headquarters of the company is the 335 meter high skyscraper ADNOC Headquarters in Abu Dhabi , which was completed in 2015 .
