Achim Schwekendiek

Achim Schwekendiek (born May 7, 1965 in Hameln ) is a German chef .

Career

After training at the Hotel Bergkurpark in Bad Pyrmont , Schwekendiek went to the Landhaus Ammann in Hanover in 1986, to the Hilton International in Mainz in 1987 and to the Averbeck's Giebelhof in Senden in 1988 . In 1990 he moved to Heinz Winkler at Tantris in Munich, then went to Paris to the “ Hôtel de Crillon ”.

As head chef he moved to the “Alten Stadtmühle” in Schopfheim in 1992 and to the “Hotel Hohenhaus” in Herleshausen in 1992 , where he was awarded a Michelin star in 1995.

Since 2004 he has been the kitchen director at the "Schlosshotel Münchhausen" in Aerzen .
