Sheikh Ahmad Magomedowitsch Abdulajew ( Russian Ахмед Магомедович Абдуллаев ;. Scientific transliteration Ahmed Magomedovič Abdullaev , born 15. September 1959 , Rajon Gumbetowski , Dagestan ASSR , RSFSR , USSR ) since 1998 Chairman of the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Dagestan and Mufti of Dagestan , headquartered in Makhachkala . He is the Sheikh Shadhili - and Nakschibendi - Sufi orders and member of the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus Peoples .

He is the rector of the North Caucasian Islamic University of Sheikh Muhammad Arif , a leading Islamic educational institution in the Republic of Dagestan in the North Caucasus.
