The Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus Peoples ( Russian Высший Религиозный Совет Народов Кавказа (abbreviated ВРСНК) / transcription. Wysschi Religiosny Sowet Narodow Kawkasa . (WRSNK); scientific transliteration: Vysšij Religioznyj Sovet Narodov Kavkaza . (VRSNK) / English Supreme Religious Council of Peoples of the Caucasus ) is the highest religious organization in the Caucasus , whose jurisdiction extends beyond the Federal District of North Caucasus (as an administrative unit) of the Russian Federation .

In 1992 Scheichülislam allahshukur pashazadeh (Allahshukur Pashazade), chairman of the Board of Muslims of the Caucasus and thus - Grand Mufti of the Caucasus - from the religious leaders of Azerbaijan , Georgia , Dagestan , Kabardino-Balkaria , Ingushetia , Chechnya , Karachay-Cherkessia and Adygeja elected chairman of the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasian Peoples.
