The North Caucasian Islamic University Imam Abu Hanifa ( russian . Северо-кавказский исламский университет им имама Абу Ханифы ; Transcription: Severo-kawkasski islamski uniwersitet in Imama Abu Chanify. , Wiss. Transliteration : . Severo-Kavkazskij islamskij universitet in Imama Abu Chanify ) is a higher Islamic educational institution in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria . The Muslim educational institution named after Abu Hanifa (699–767) is located in Nalchik , the capital of the Russian republic, with the address: Kabardinskaya ul. 75. Its rector is Sharafutdin Tschotschajew, who is also a member of the Supreme Religious Council of the Caucasus Peoples . In 2014 the company moved to a new building.

A North Caucasian Islamic University, Sheikh Muhammad Arif, for the followers of the Shafiite school of law is located in Makhachkala , the capital of Dagestan .
