List of Muftiats
This is a list of Muftiats . A muftiate is a Muslim territorial administrative district under the direction of a mufti . A grand muftiate is an association of regional muftiates led by a grand mufti (see also list of grand muftis ). A grand muftiate is more important than a muftiate.
Well-known Grand Muftis are or were z. For example, Grand Mufti Talgat Tajuddin , who was in office from 1992 to 2015 , at the time chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of the Muslims of Russia (Russian Zjentralnoje duchownoje uprawlenije mussulman Rossii ) based in Ufa ( Bashkortostan ), or the former Grand Mufti of Egypt Ahmed el-Tayeb , the current Sheikh al-Azhar , the successor of Muhammad Sayyid Tantawi .
